Abstract

Cartoons have been accepted as a successful means of communiqué and operate as a communication tool not merely to humor but plays a significant role in reforming children’s mentality, language and behavior. These cartoon characters are appreciated among the children in Pakistan and have an impact on their lives, because children follow them and their character and personality are affected by the cartoons. This can be used to Pakistan’s advantage by introducing a new cartoon character with Pakistani national identity, themes and content.so, a new 2D Cartoon Character was designed as a Protagonist, for the children of Pakistan to promote the National Identity of Pakistan through the National Symbols. Therefore, a new cartoon character on Pakistan's identity has been developed by using appropriate National Symbols of Pakistan. The development process of the Character has been designed by using the Character Design Pipeline and the character may be used in upcoming Pakistani cartoon shows, animations, and for merchandising purposes to build patriotism in Pakistani children.
